The NDIS is a complicated system. The language is dense, the categories are confusing, the rules change, and the difference between a good plan and a bad one can come down to how well you understand the process. Most participants did not sign up to become experts in government funding systems.
Support coordination exists to bridge that gap. Our coordinators work with participants to understand their plan, connect with the right providers, and make sure supports deliver actual results.
Your coordinator explains your NDIS plan in plain language, helps you choose providers, sets up service agreements, monitors whether supports are delivered properly, helps you raise issues when things are not working, connects you with mainstream services, prepares evidence for your plan review, and advocates for your needs within the NDIS system.
A good coordinator saves you time, stress, and money. They catch problems before they escalate and make sure funding aligns with your goals.
Our coordinators carry manageable caseloads so they have time to actually know their participants. When you start, your coordinator goes through your plan in detail, explaining every line item. They help set up services, make provider introductions, and create a workable schedule.
Throughout your plan, your coordinator stays in regular contact. They check on how services are going, flag funding issues early, and prepare documentation for your plan review.
Support coordination is funded under Capacity Building, in the Support Coordination category. The amount determines how many hours you can access during your plan period. If your plan does not include this funding and you think it should, we can help you prepare a case for your next review.
Yes, there is no NDIS rule preventing this. Having your coordinator with the same provider can make communication more efficient. You always have the right to choose an independent coordinator if you prefer.
At minimum, monthly. In practice, our coordinators are in touch more frequently, especially during the first few months or when issues arise. You can contact your coordinator any time.
Tell us. Coordinator fit matters. If you want a different coordinator, we will arrange the transition.
