Household Tasks

Keeping your home the way you want it

A clean, organised home is not a luxury. It is a basic part of living well. For people with a disability, managing household tasks can range from difficult to impossible depending on the nature of the disability, energy levels, and competing demands.

Aamoon Care provides NDIS funded household task support for participants who need help keeping their home clean, organised, and safe. This is practical, hands on assistance delivered in your home.

What household task support covers

Our service includes cleaning and tidying living areas, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, laundry including washing, drying, folding, and ironing, bed making, dishwashing, rubbish management, light decluttering, and general home maintenance tasks.

The support can be standalone or combined with other services like personal care, daily living assistance, or meal preparation.

How the service works

We start by understanding your home and your preferences. Some people want their kitchen cleaned in a specific way. Others have a routine for laundry. Your support plan includes details on which tasks are covered, how often, and any instructions about how they should be completed.

We keep the same workers on your roster wherever possible. Having someone who already knows where things go saves time and avoids frustration.

NDIS funding

Household task support is funded under Core Supports in your NDIS plan, under Assistance with Daily Life. If you are not sure whether your plan includes funding for household tasks, our team can help you check.
